Teas
How do I brew loose leaf tea?+
Use 1 teaspoon per 8oz of water. Heat water to the right temperature for your blend — herbal teas like Digestive Harmony and Tranquilitea do best at 208°F (just off boil), while Green Vitality prefers 175°F to avoid bitterness. Steep for 5–7 minutes, then strain and enjoy. You can re-steep most blends once for a lighter second cup.
Do I need a special infuser?+
Any fine-mesh infuser, tea ball, or reusable muslin bag works great. If you don't have one, you can brew directly in a pot and pour through a strainer. We recommend a basket-style infuser so the leaves have room to expand fully — this releases the most flavour.
How long do loose leaf teas stay fresh?+
Stored in an airtight container away from light, heat, and moisture, our blends stay fresh for 12–18 months. We recommend a cool pantry or cupboard — not above the stove or in the refrigerator.
Which tea is best for sleep or stress?+
Tranquilitea is our go-to for winding down — it's a calming herbal blend designed to ease stress and prepare your body for rest. Digestive Harmony is also wonderful in the evening if you're dealing with bloating or digestive tension after meals. Neither contains caffeine.
Bath Salts
How do I use the bath salts?+
Add ½ to 1 cup directly to warm running bath water and allow to dissolve before stepping in. For a foot soak, use 2–3 tablespoons in a basin. Soak for at least 20 minutes to allow the minerals and botanicals to absorb. Pat dry gently — no need to rinse.
Are the bath salts safe for sensitive skin?+
Yes — all our bath salts use natural ingredients without synthetic dyes or harsh chemicals. However, if you have very sensitive skin or known allergies, review the ingredient list for your chosen blend before use. When in doubt, DM us and we'll walk you through it.
Which soak is best for sore muscles?+
Our Lavender & Eucalyptus Soak is specifically formulated for muscle relief — eucalyptus is a natural anti-inflammatory and lavender helps relax tension. Great after a workout or a long day on your feet.
Elderberry Syrup
What's in the Elderberry Syrup?+
Our Elderberry Syrup is handcrafted from dried elderberries, raw honey, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger — all natural, no preservatives or artificial additives. It's made in small batches to ensure freshness and potency.
How do I take it and how much?+
For general immune support, take 1 tablespoon daily for adults, 1 teaspoon for children. During cold and flu season or if you feel something coming on, you can take it 2–3x per day. It's delicious straight, stirred into tea, or drizzled over oatmeal.
How long does it last once opened?+
Refrigerate after opening and use within 60–90 days. Always use a clean spoon to maintain freshness. If it smells off or changes texture, discontinue use. Unopened, it keeps for up to 3 months in a cool, dark place.
